So my summer has consisted of working day after day after day outside, building a platform deck, rebuilding our old deck, staining both of them, building new rails, terraforming, planting new grass, doing stucco, painting the stucco, power washing everything that doesn't move, etcetcetcetc.  ...and now that I was finally about finished with everything, mum's all "the house looks so nice, I wonder how much it'll sell for" ...sooooo a few days later, I find out the house is on the market.  NOT HAPPY.  It didn't even take two weeks for a contract to be put on the house.  Apparently the fact that the neighbors play barely audible music during th

At long last, I've finally got a nice computer.  I don't have to do crap wait 45 seconds to see strokes in photoshop and illustrator show up, or go out to lunch/dinner while a 3d project renders anymore!  Thank you everyone who commissioned me; I greatly appreciate all your help.  I was able to get about 75% of my goal from commissions and the rest from working my butt off building/painting/doing patios when summer started. It's been a long number of weeks, but I'm not beat yet.  Lots of big projects for animation and 3d classes are rolling around the corner fast and finding time to work on other stuff in between is pretty tough. I do have good news though!  I broke the 50% mark for raising money for a not-broken computer! -- all thanks to the extremely awesome people that have commissioned me these past few weeks.  Thank you very much guys for the continued support and encouragement in PM's and on MSN, too!
